That's right, it will probably take 1 hr or a little bit more. i am (proudly) from Salvador, living in Los Angeles now.

It has been a while since I went there, but the Airport is quite far from the city itself. If I had to guess, it would take somewhere around 1.5 hour, depending on traffic.
